Suffragan Bishop Paul Idout delivers his sermon from a pulpit made from a sled at the St. Jude's Anglican Cathedral in the arctic town of Iqaluit, March 28. Idout is the first Inuk to hold an episcopal position in the Anglican Communion. The new Canadian territory of Nunavut, which has a population of 25,000 and covers over two million square kilometers of arctic terrain, will come into being on April 1.
