HAY LOTTERY WINNER RECEIVES HUG FROM VOLUNTEER AT RANCH AID.
Hay lottery winner Ursula Crosbie (L) receives a hug from Ranch Aid
volunteer Pat Langridge in Cochrane, September 16, 2002. Crosbie and
her husband were one of 21 names chosen to win a month's supply of hay.
Ranch Aid, set up by a Cochrane business, raised funds and donations to
buy over one million pounds of hay, and then donate to Alberta drought
stricken farmers. The hay will feed over one thousand cows and 40
horses for a month. Over 300 farmers and ranchers entered the lottery.
