CHILEAN WORKER FREEZES FARMED SALMON IN SOUTHERN CHILE.
A Chilean worker places fresh farmed salmon inside a freezer in the Pacific
port of Chacabuco, some 1,800 kilometers south of Santiago, September 16,
2003. From this new frontier of salmon farming, where snowcapped peaks
descend into deep fjords and nutrient-rich currents, Chile is set to take
over Norway as the world's largest producer of farmed salmon, but not
without criticism. NO RIGHTS CLEARANCES OR PERMISSIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS IMAGE REUTERS/Carlos Barria/FEATURE/CHILE-SALMON
