A GIRL PLAYS THE FLUTE AT THE BELLAVISTA HILL IN VALPARAISO.
A girl plays the flute at the Bellavista hill in Valparaiso in this
undated file photo. Valparaiso, 85 miles northwest of Santiago, known
for its colorful wooden buildings, hills and outdoor elevators, was
declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in Paris on July 2, 2003. In
granting the status, the United Nations Education, Sciences and
Cultural Organization recognized arguments by Chilean government and
independent organization that Valparaiso is unique for its geography
and immigrant history, which lead to the city's unusual architecture
and layout. REUTERS/Eliseo Fernandez
