A protester is taken away by plainclothes police officers and placed in a jeep near the office of Southern Weekly newspaper in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou January 10, 2013. The latest issue of Southern Weekly Chinese newspaper at the centre of anti-censorship protests appeared on newsstands on Thursday. In a show of continued resistance, the Southern Weekly republished a Monday editorial from the Communist Party mouthpiece the People's Daily, that said "the party's methods of controlling the media must move with the times".
