Chinese hairdresser Huang Xin (R) cuts the hair of a customer in front of replicas of the Tiananmen Gate and Olympic torches that he made from human hair at his barbershop in Beijing August 3, 2009. Huang used 11kg (24 lbs) of hair cut from his customers over a five month period to create the Tiananmen Gate replica. Huang started making reproductions from human hair in early 2008, including the Beijing Olympic stadium (also known as the Bird's Nest), the National Aquatics Centre (also known as the Water Cube), and the Olympic rings.
