A Chinese cleaner passes heaps of locally-grown cabbages for sale in Beijing November 18. Chinese farmers fret that their U.S. counterparts may put them out of business after the U.S. and China signed an agreement on Monday paving the way for Beijing's World Trade Organisation (WTO) accession by agreeing to greater access to U.S. goods and services, especially agricultural products. China agreed to slash import tariffs on U.S. farm products to 14.5 percent from an average 31.5 percent.
