LINCOLN CENTER JAZZ ORCHESTRA PERFORM IN BEIJING.
The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra is seen through a crowd of spectators as they perform in Beijing February 16. Jazz was forbidden during China's Cultural Revolution from 1966-1976 - branded a symbol of bourgeois decadace. But the American artform has crept back into the world's most populous nation, with a few jazz clubs located in large cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai.
