Garbage collectors compete with local swine for scraps and salvagable goods at a landfill in Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia February 8, 2001. According to the Xinhua news agency, some 200 cities in China have trouble finding garbage dumpsites as China's accumulated dumps now weigh over six billion tons, occupying some 500 square metres of land space.
