A tourist visits an outdoor ice sculpture exhibition in Harbin, the
capital of Heilongjing province, January 11, 2003. China expects to
earn $21.5 billion from overseas tourists this year, up from $20.4
billion in 2002, state media said. According to the China Daily, total
tourism income, which included that from domestic travellers, is
expected to reach $73 billion in 2003, up 8.5 percent from last year.
