A Tibetan monk sits outside the Shakyamuni temple in the Kumbun Monastery located on the outskirts of Xining in Qinghai province March 10, 2009. The monastary is the birthplace of the founder of the Gelupka sect of Buddhism, of the which the Tibet's spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, heads.
