Maricela Lenis, a Colombian displaced by violence, wave a Colombian flag as she protest in front of riot police outside the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Bogota, January 4. About one hundred internal refugees stormed the ICRC building to press for a solution to their social and economic demands. Around of 1.2 million people have been displaced in Colombia during the last 10 years amid fighting between leftist guerrillas and paramilitary death squads.
