A Colombian weeps over the hearse of one of the 15 policemen killed in weekend attacks by leftist guerillas in the north of the country March 28. At least 31 people were killed, including policemen, a mayor, a mother and her three children, when Marxist rebels stormed two neighbouring villages over the weekend. Hundrerds of FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) guerrillas rained down home-made missiles and machine-gun fire on Bellavista in northwest Choco province and Vigia del Fuerte in Antioquia province.
