Irish citizen Niall Terence Connoly (C) is escorted to an army vehicle
in a military base to be transported to Bogota's Modelo jail, August
22, 2001. Colombia's district attorney's office said Connoly and fellow
countrymen Martin McCauley and James Monaghan may be held in a
Colombian jail for 240 days, beginning on Tuesday, while the state
prepares its case against them.
