REBEL COMMANDERS OF THE FARC PARIS AND TRINIDAD SMILE DURING A PEACE
MEETING IN LOS POZOS.

Colombians readied for mass exodus from a Marxist-rebel enclave early
on Saturday as the United Nations kicked off last ditch meetings aimed
at saving three-year-old peace talks before the president orders an
army offensive. Unless U.N. envoy James LeMoyne strikes an agreement by
2130 hours with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) the
government will give the rebels 48 hours to vacate their enclave in
southern Colombia before troops move in on Monday. REUTERS/Eliana
