JAVIER ZAPATA NEW WORLD RECORD CYCLIST. 
Javier Zapata, 26, bikes up the stairs of a 38-story office building May 6 in the northwestern city of Medellin to set a new world record. Zapata accomplished the feat, after taking 23 minutes and 17 seconds to maneuver his bike up 760 stairs inside the Coltejer office building. The previous world record was set by a Spanish cyclist who took 25 minutes and 23 seconds to pedal or "jump-start" his way up 747 stairs in a Barcelona hotel.
