A History of Boradcasting in the United States" which claims network executives urged empoyees to use violence as an effective means of retaining viewers, during a Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation's hearing on Capitol Hill September 13, 2000. The committee is exploring the effects of marketing violence to children which has allegedly been practiced by major American media companies.
