(L-R) Vice-President Peter Tomka of Slovakia, Presiding Judge Hisashi Owada of Japan and Abdul G Koroma attend the start of a hearing on Costa Rica's border dispute with Nicaragua at the ICJ peace palace in The Hague March 8, 2011. The U.N.'s highest court ordered Nicaragua on Tuesday to keep security forces away from a disputed border region as it ruled partially in favour of emergency measures requested by Costa Rica. The ICJ was asked to rule on a lawsuit lodged by Costa Rica last November which accused Nicaragua of sending troops to accompany dredging workers it said were illegally on Costa Rican territory.
