Aerial view of the scene of a cable car accident where twenty people died when the cable car taking staff to an international Alpine observatory plunged 80 metres (260 feet) in southeastern France July 1. Rescuers said they found 20 bodies near the smashed car which fell just after 7 a.m. on the way up to the stellar observatory atop 2,700-metre-high (8,900-foot) Pic de Bure from a resort near the town of Gap.
