East Timorese pro-Indonesian militia leader Eurico Guterres raises his fists as his supporters carry him out of a Jakarta court after his trial was adjourned January 9, 2001. Guterres, on trial for violence in Indonesian West Timor, is also being investigated over separate bloodshed carried out by the militias in East Timor before the territory voted to break from Jakarta's rule in August 1999.
