Muhammad, 42, is charged with murder in the shooting of Dean Meyers,
53, at a gas station in Manassas, Virginia, on Oct. 9, 2002, part of
the string of 10 shooting deaths in and around the U.S. capital. If
convicted, he faces a possible death sentence or life in prison without
parole.
