FILE PHOTO 17FEB00 - Disgraced financier Mario Conde, who symbolised Spain's 1980s get-rich-quick boom, was convicted of two counts March 31 for his role in the country's biggest bank collapse and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Prosecutors had asked for 49 1/2-year prison term for Conde, who was acquitted of six other charges. Conde is pictured during an interview at his home on February 17, 2000.
