Public Prosecutor Beat Schnell gives a statement to the media July 8 after the commercial court of Berne had sentenced Werner K. Rey, the former head of the failed Omni Holding AG conglomerate, to four years in jail for fraud in the run-up to Switzerland's biggest bankrupcy. Rey was convicted of attempted fraud, falsifying documents and fraudulent bankrupcy.
