BELIEVER KISSES BIBLE DURING FIRST PUBLIC MASS AT CHRISTIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH.
A believer kisses the bible as Christian Orthodox Archbishop Athenagoras (rear) reads psalms during the first public mass held at the newly-built Christian Orthodox church in Havana, February 1, 2004. The Christian Orthodox church is the first church built from scratch since President Fidel Castro's 1959 revolution. The church is a gift from Cuba's communist-run government, which began tolerating religious practice in 1992. There are only an estimated 2,000 Orthodox Christians in Cuba, most are east European, mainly Russian and few are Greek. REUTERS/Claudia Daut CD/JDP
