POLISH PRESIDENT ALEKSANDER KWASNIEWSKI TOUCHES A FRIEZE ON THE STATUE OF ST.JOHN OF NEPOMUK.
Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski touches the frieze of the St. John of Nepomuk's statue at the medieval Charles Bridge during his walkabout in the Czech Capital February 22. According to Czech tradition touching the frieze of St.John being thrown into the Vltava River will make one's wishes come true. Kwasniewski is on a two-day state visit to the Czech Republic.
