FILE PHOTO OF MOUNT RANIER.
Two mountain climbers, a man and woman, were found dead late on May 29, 2002
at high altitude on Mount Rainier, Washington. Rescuers also believe that
another body they found in a crevasse is also a missing woman member of the
climbing party. The party's fourth member, a man, was rescued by helicopter
after he managed to climb down to 7,800 foot St. Elmo's Pass and was able to
contact rescuers via cellphone on May 29. Mount Rainier is pictured in this
file photo from August 25, 2001 as seen from Paradise on the south face of
the mountain. Bad weather has postponed further rescue efforts until
daybreak on May 30. NO RIGHTS CLEARANCES OR PERMISSIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS IMAGE REUTERS/Anthony P. Bolante/File
