A medical technician conducts an MRI brain scan on Tirto, a Komodo dragon, at a clinic in Singapore August 23, 2003. The eight-year-old male Komodo dragon from the Singapore Zoological Gardens went for a brain scan to see if it had problems with its nervous system. Tirto, weighing 42 kg (92 pounds) and measuring 2.3 metres (7.5 feet) long had been having problems eating and walking. The zoo initially tried steroid treatment, but has now turned to the traditional Chinese acupuncture to solve the problem.
