A injured man receives treatment from a Medecins sans Frontieres (MSF) doctor, near a French military checkpoint on the outskirts of Bunia, north-eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, June 29, 2003. He said he had been shot in the leg few days ago by armed men outside the town, and had been convalescing in bushland 12 kilometers from the town. Hundreds of residents displaced by war flooded home to Congo's battered Bunia town for a second day on Saturday, testing improved security in the ramshackle settlement after French troops imposed a ban on guns.
