Ecuadorian indigenous shaman Jose Pichamba holds a golden pot during the Equinox ceremony in Rumicucho, a little village over the equatorial line, March 20. Indigenous believe in the sun as a great spirit that should provide peace and success on their harvest, the ceremony was to call the great spirit through the golden pot showing up like fire to purify their souls.
