Supporters of Muslim brotherhood pray before a demonstration in Alexandria City, 230 km (143 miles) north of Cairo, April 1, 2008. Egyptian security forces detained five members of the opposition Muslim Brotherhood on Tuesday as they were putting up campaign posters for the April 8 local council elections, security sources and the group said. They were the latest to be detained in a government crackdown on the country's strongest opposition group ahead of the vote. Egyptian police have rounded more than 800 members of the group in recent weeks in the run-up to the council vote, including at least 148 would-be candidates. REUTERS/Nasser Nuri (EGYPT)
