DISTRICT IN CAIRO.
Antiquities experts (bottom) inspect a 2,500-years-old tomb which was
recently discovered in a densely populated area in Cairo November 18,
2001, as on lookers watch the excavation. The tomb, which was
accidentally discovered when the owner of the land applied for the
construction of a building permit, contains relics and three
sarcophaguses believed to be containing mummies belonging to the 26th
dynasty family. REUTERS/Aladin Abdel Naby
