A fisherman leaves eggs of golfina turtles, also known as Olive Ridley turtles, outside a hut of the non-governmental organization Biologos de la Fundacion Zoologica Salvadorena (Biologists of the Salvadoran Zoological Foundation) at San Diego Beach in La Libertad October 2, 2012. Local fishermen extract the eggs from their nests in order to protect them from looters before selling them to the foundation, where the turtles are hatched and then released into the ocean.
