A Golfina turtle hatchling crawls into ocean after being released on San Diego Beach in La Libertad October 3, 2012. Local fishermen extract the eggs of Golfina turtles, also known as Olive Ridley turtles, from their nests in order to protect them from looters, before selling them to the non-governmental organization Biologos de la Fundacion Zoologica Salvadorena (Biologists of the Salvadoran Zoological Foundation), which hatches the turtles and then releases them into the ocean.
