Sally Kirkland arrives carrying a purse of a motif based on the motion picture "Saving Private Ryan", which is nominated for Best Picture, at the 71st Annual Academy Awards at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, March 21. The purse will be auctioned off by Christies to benefit the construction of the World War II Memorial.
