Talk show host Rosie O'Donnell, shown arriving April 2, 2001 at the New York launch party for her new women's lifestyle magazine, was hospitalized April 4, 2001 after her injured hand became infected, according to her publicist Lois Smith on April 5, 2001. O'Donnell injured the hand last summer on a fishing trip with her children and has since undergone several operations to repair ligament damage.
