The Global Music Network, which is the U.S. licensee for the opera trio known as "The Three Tenors," is suing Domino's Pizza over their 1999 commercial campaign which depicts three singers in formal attire identified as "Meatsa Trio." The three singers were allegedly chosen to resemble (L to R) Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavorotti, shown performing December 31, 1996 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and in the commercial sing in operatic style about the three meats included in the "Meatsa Pizza.
