Researchers present a "Red List" of animal species which are threatened with extinction, at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress in Barcelona October 6, 2008. A quarter of the world's mammals are threatened with extinction, an international survey showed on Monday, and the destruction of habitats and hunting are the major causes.
