Eritrean soldiers stand over the bodies of Ethiopian soldiers in Belassa on the Tsoronna front, some 120km (75 miles) south of the Eritrean capital Asmara March 16. Hundreds of Ethiopians were killed during a major offensive on 14-15 March which failed to dislodge Eritrean forces from their trenches.
