Ethiopian woman from the Borana tribe attend pastoralists' meeting in Yabello, Ethiopia
An Ethiopian woman from the Borana tribe attends a pastoralists' meeting in Yabello, 600km (373 miles) south of Ethiopia's capital of Addis Ababa, July 18, 2006. Pastoralist leaders from 19 countries spent six days sheltering under the shade of acacia trees on the Yabello rangelands, locked in discussions on trade, governance and production, OCHA, the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said. There are thought to be 100 million pastoralists worldwide with 8-10 million in Ethiopia alone. Picture taken July 18, 2006.
