Polish workers take part in a protest against pressure from the bloc to slash output at the struggling Gdansk shipyard, birthplace of the anti-communist movement Solidarity, during a rally outside the European Commission headquarters in Brussels June 25, 2008. The European Commission, the EU's executive arm, is increasingly impatient with Poland's repeated failure to present restructuring programmes for the Szczecin, Gdynia and Gdansk shipyards that would justify massive state aid they had received. The sign (bottom L) reads, "Don't shut down the shipyard of Szczecin". REUTERS/Yves Herman (BELGIUM)
