EU ministers will approve on Friday tighter gun controls despite opposition from countries including the Czech Republic, which says they hurt gun enthusiasts, hunters and museums while not preventing illegal arms falling into the hands of terrorists. The Czech Republic has liberal gun regulation by European standards, with about 775,000 legal guns and rifles in the country of 10.6 million people.
