DANCERS AND ACROBATS RAISE GIANT EURO BALLOON AT CURRENCY LAUNCH IN PARIS.
Dancers and acrobats dressed in the colours of the flag of the European Union, raise a giant Euro balloon to symbolize the new currency's launch January 4. The Euro was traded for the first time today driving up the new currency and sending many of the continent's stocks and bond markets soaring. Slogan written on the back of dancer reads: "The euro is born".
