Abdou Al Hammoud stands with his bicycle at "The New Jungle" camp in Calais
Abdou Al Hammoud from Sudan stands with his bicycle at "The New Jungle" camp in Calais, France, August 8, 2015. Abdou Al Hammoud, 26, is from Darfour and has spent 20 days in "The New Jungle" after spending seven months in Libya. Al Hammoud says, "After this journey I made, nothing is impossible". He says that his dream is to be safe, study French and stay in France. For most of the 3,000 inhabitants of the "Jungle", a shanty town on the sand dunes of France's north coast, the climax of each day is the nightly bid to sneak into the undersea tunnel they hope will lead to new life in Britain.
