Lebanon's famous singer Fayrouz performs with the group Rahbani in the courtyard of the Roman Temple of Jupiter in Baalbeck city August 14. Fayrouz opened the 12th International Festival of Baalbeck for the first time in the festival's 24 year history. This is the second successive year of the festival's revival since the civil war ended in 1990.
