TO MATCH WITH STORY BC-AUTOS COLOMBIA-WILLYS - This 1950s Willys Jeep CJ-3 is piled high with a dog, ducks, a pig, plants and the contents of almost an entire house, topped with a picture of Jesus Christ in this archive photo taken in Colombia's central coffee-growing region of Quindio. U.S.-made Willys and early Jeeps have long been a workhorse in the Colombian countryside, carting plantains, coffee and yucca and more recently has been embraced by Bogota's middle-classes who use their no-frills Willys to go to their weekend homes in the country and hopefully avoid the threat of kidnap by warring Marxist rebels. Picture taken 15JUL97.
