FOR RELEASE WITH FEATURE BC-ANTARCTICA-EXPLORERS - The skeleton of one of Captain Robert Falcom Scott's dogs, with its leather collar still attached, lies where it died in 1912 during the ill-fated British Antarctic Expedition of 1910-13. Scott and four others died on the return trip from the South Pole after being beaten to the earth's most southerly point by Norweigan Roald Amundsen who arrived a month earlier.
