An unidentified surfer surfs south of the Ponce Inlet in New Smyrna
Beach, Florida August 28, 2001. Ten shark attacks have occured in the
area in the last ten days, forcing officials to close part of the
beach, but said they would not risk officers' safety to arrest
surfers.
