KFC has pulled two items off its menu at more that 1,000 outlets across China, its owner's second-most profitable market, after discovering ingredients of the products contained an industrial dye linked to cancer. The fried chicken chain removed "New Orleans" wings and "New Orleans" drumstick burgers from its menu on Wednesday and destroyed all tainted products after discovering a supplier had used the Sudan 1 dye illegally in ingredients, an executive for KFC's parent, Yum Brands Inc., told Reuters on Thursday.
