A group of asylum seekers wait outside a medical tent the day after the prefecture in Pas-de-Calais announced emergency sanitary measures to combat an increase in the number of cases of scabies among the migrants who live in the woods near Calais, August 11, 2009. Hundreds of migrants, mostly from Iraq, Afghanistan and Eritrea, camp in the woods, known locally as the "jungle", from which they make nightly attempts to board trucks crossing the Channel by train or ferry.
