A sign that reads "end of the visit " is seen at the U4 museum in Uckange near Florange, May 11, 2013. The Uckange U4 furnace, stopped in 1991 after a century of production was turned into a museum in October 2007 as a testimony of the forging and steelmaking tradition in the "Angel Valley" of the Lorraine region. With a level of more than 10 percent unemployment, the Lorraine Region and its "Angel Valley" is one of France's most impacted area. After the 2009 closure of nearby Gandrange, an ArcelorMittal steelworks in the region, the recent ArcelorMittal's decision to mothball two blast furnaces at its site in Hayange-Florange, increases the fear of the end of the forging and steel making tradition in the "Angel Valley" of the Lorraine region, turning the valley into a "Museum Valley".
